Galaxy A14 key specs revealed via new certifications

Samsung is all set to add a new entry-level A-series smartphone to its portfolio. As per the latest report, the Galaxy A14 4G has picked up FCC and TUV certifications, which also reveal all the specifications of the phone. The phone appears with model number SM-A145R/DSN, and there will also be a 5G variant of the Galaxy A14 as well.

The Galaxy A14 has already appeared on the FCC certification website. Now in the new FCC listing (spotted by 91Mobiles), the Galaxy A14 shows to have 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi. Moreover, the device’s charging adapter will come with model number EP-T1510, and its manufacturer is listed as HAEM Co.LTD. Sadly, there are no actual images or designs of the phone, but at least we get an outline of the device.

As per the FCC listing, the Galaxy A14 4G will measure 167.7×78.8×11.8 mm. Speaking of the details in the TUV certification, the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G will come with a 4,900 mAh (which will be listed as 5,000 mAh) battery, supported by 15W charging. Notably, that’s all there is to say about the details revealed via these platforms.

Besides this, as already mentioned, Samsung will also release a 5G variant of the Galaxy A14 because the phone was recently spotted on the official Samsung India website. The 5G version bears the model number SM-A146B/DS and is expected to launch in two variants, one with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and the other with the Exynos 1330 chipset, and will be paired with 6GB of RAM. Both variants will have Android 13 out of the box.

While there are no price details available for the phone, it could retail at a higher price compared to the Galaxy A13, which costs INR 15,999 (around $193) in India.
